HAPPY EASTER...

I'm the first person to admit this - I'm weird, when it comes to easter eggs!!  The only one I can actually eat is a good old reliable Cadburys Buttons egg.  I just can't stand the taste of the chocolate the eggs are made of, to me its like cooking chocolate, but then hey, I did say I was weird!!

Anyhoooo, heres a card and box I made for my Niece and her husband - a very late card!!

Flowers are Wild Orchid, pearl pink paper from my stash, butterflies are a Martha Stewart punch, lots of stickles on the flowers - I do love my bling :)

Cardz'n'Scrapz February Challenge

Hey, I think I'm getting the hang of this blog thing now :)!!

Heres my challenge entry for Niamh's February Craft Challenge.  It had to be an altered project so I chose to alter some tins which I had stored up for a good reason... even if I didn't know what it was at the time LOL!!!

I used the gorgeous Classic Fleur 12x12 papers, lace from my stash, made the flower from crepe paper and added a Wild Orchid gardenia with an extra blingy gem, then splitzed it with Glimmer Mist and finally added a few liquid pearls.

Snow Days

This was the reason for my two days off this week....
That, however, is long gone and all is back to normal.

Cardz'n'Scraps March Challenge

This is one of the entries for Aideen's March Crafty Challenge over on CardznScrapz.  I've been wanting to do something for my craft room for aaaaages but just haven't found the time.  Thanks to the snow this week I've had two free days to get stuck into some projects - gasp, shock!!

The gigantic flower is made from crepe paper, with inked edges and sprayed with Glimmer Mist. Small pink roses are handmade by moi.  Butterflies from Claire Fader (thank you :)) and swirls are a sizzix die oh and gems from Prima.

My first trip to Blog Land!!

Well, I've finally made the leap to set up my Blog. I'm not at all computer savvy so please bear with me while I get to grips with changing/adding things.

I plan on using this as an online diary type of thing so I don't expect comments or views – however, they will always be welcome J
